About the EP
For such a young producer, there is no compromise in quality. "The Beginning" is tough roller with driving sub bassline, littered with militant percussion and subtle atmospherics - the half time switch in the middle of the track is an unexpected twist in this sonic tale and has been receiving big reviews from DJs and dance floor ravers alike. B Side "The Climber" is a deep slab of rolling Drum & Bass. The tense backdrop of the intro builds towards a heavy weight drop of sub sonic bass laid over crisp breaks and menacing atmospherics. Motiv has captured strong neuro funk vibes with a dance floor back drop.
